Blue Rodeo are my everything, and always have been, ever since I was a kid. They took me and the Torpedo out on our first arena tour and shared their wonderful and devout fanbase with us. It’s a real pleasure to announce that we’ll be sharing the bandstand once again with our heroes this summer. Not just any old band stand… the Bud Stage - "Where Buds Boogie.” See you all there!

Ok…you’ve got one hand tappin’ on the wheel

Ok…you’ve got one hand tappin’ on the wheel and another on turning up the new @themusicofzeus album. You look over and you see your best bud. She’s all giddy and free with one foot out the window and the other one on the dash. The other three are in the back. One is jamming fries into his face while still smiling, the other, you see in the side mirror shut eyed, and gettin’ right reacquainted with the chilly salt air of the bay. And the bud in the middle is sleeping off an epic hangover from a rip downtown the night before with donair foil crinkling about his shirt collar. You’re all about to make the best turn in the history of streets, to the @shoreclub.ca! The place where summer stands still and lets us dance and be free.

My heart feels so full that we get to be the soundtrack to this righteous escape. It’s just gets more special every year. To add to the specialness, I’m beyond excited to announce that one of our all-time favourite bands @themusicofzeus is supporting every night! This year’s gonna be just one doozie of a dance! So, find a car, load it with your gnarliest buds. Hit a drive-thru. Make a ZEUS playlist. Crank it and come join us for the party of the year. I can’t wait to see all your faces and dance the night away in lobster land.

From recently unearthed VHS tapes we a thrilled to share a lost video from my debut album, and not a moment too soon, as we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of it’s release on Sonic Records in 2003! So here it is, finally, the official video for the first song on my first album called 'Downtown' featuring the one and only El Torpedo 🦅 I’m thankful to be great buds with one of the only VHS tape editors left in the east. A special thanks to Michael Nahirnak for the amazing (and, I’m sure, painstaking) editing job. Enjoy folks!! 🚊 (full vid at the link in bio)
